Tahir Elçi (1966 – 28 November 2015) was a Kurdish lawyer and the chairman of Diyarbekir Bar Association.
He was assassinated in the Sur district of Diyarbekir on 28 November 2015 in the part of Northern Kurdistan which is occupied by invader Turkey
