An antique salt bag by the Kurds of Eastern Kurdistan. The bag has a piled face and plain striped flat woven back,
the main body of the bag depicts linked floral designs surrounding a panel that could be interpreted to contain a tree of life.
The neck of the bag has a panel containing a floral design.
