Nicola Tesla: Magnificence of 3 6 9
Nikola Tesla (1856–1943) was a Serbian-American inventor and electrical engineer whose innovations laid the foundation for modern alternating current (AC) electricity systems. Born in Smiljan, in present-day Croatia, he studied engineering before emigrating to the United States in 1884. Tesla briefly worked with Thomas Edison but soon parted ways due to differing views. He then developed the AC induction motor and polyphase AC system, which allowed efficient transmission of electricity over long distances. These advancements were licensed by George Westinghouse and became instrumental in the widespread adoption of AC power. ?en.wikipedia.org+1Encyclopedia Britannica+1Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe+1en.wikipedia.org+1HISTORY+1en.wikipedia.org+1
Beyond AC power, Tesla's innovations included the Tesla coil, a key component in early radio technology, and early experiments in wireless communication and remote control. He also envisioned global wireless energy transmission and contributed to the development of fluorescent lighting and X-ray technology. Despite his groundbreaking work, Tesla faced financial challenges and struggled to commercialize many of his inventions, leading to a modest lifestyle in his later years. Nevertheless, his visionary ideas and technological contributions have had a lasting impact on modern electrical engineering and continue to inspire innovation today.
