The first Kurdish newspaper: KURDISTAN, 1898

 

 


The Turkish occupiers and racists did not allow any Kurdish minor activity to be carried anywhere in the world. Here is the proof. The first Kurdish newspaper was issued by the Kurdish prince son of Mikdad Madhat Bedir Khan in Cairo on April 22, 1898. But these Turkish racists persecuted the newspaper publisher through several countries and continents. Despite this, 31 numbers came out in three countries: The first issue came out in Cairo, the other numbers in these countries:

No1-5: Cairo
No6-19: Geneva
No20-23: Cairo
No24: London
No25-29: Southern England
No30-31: Geneva
